Each mug is made by hand using locally sourced Plainsman clay, produced right here in Alberta. Every piece is wheel-thrown, carved/painted by hand, and finished with care, no two are ever exactly alike.
I paint and carve the designs directly into the clay, creating a natural contrast between the warm, speckled clay body and the detailed painted lines. Each mug is then glazed with interior colour a little surprise of joy with every sip!
